Météorage is the EUCLID Service Operator.

For more than 17 years, Météorage is involved in Lightning Detection Network Design, Management and Business Development.

Created in 1987, Météorage is a joint venture between Météo France and Vaisala.

Météorage designed and implemented the French Lightning Detection Network (owned by Météo France) in 1987.

Météorage is granted with the ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Standard.

Météorage has a real expertise in Lightning Detection:

History:

Operation of Lightning Detection Networks including a 24/7 operating center,
Design and support of Lightning Operating System (CATS) and Application Software (Observation),
Production, marketing and sales of lightning products and services to a large range of customers with "on line" delivery capacity.
Service provider for EUCLID customers (real time alarm and display).
Management of turnkey projects for Lightning Detection Networks.

Météorage is serving the French and Swiss markets with a large range of products and services ( real time and archived) in lightning detection and lightning risk prevention.

Météorage is also addressing the Worldwide Market offering a Lightning Detection Networks and Services solution on turn keys basis. The scope of supply from Météorage could be either the CATS system to be implemented on existing networks or a full network (sensors & operating centre) including design, installation, operation and marketing support.

Météorage has been serving hundreds of customers in France such as Météo France, Electricité de France, France Telecom, Télédiffusion de France, France Télévision, main industry and insurances companies, ... and customers in Swiss such as Swiss Met Service, EOS...

The CATS system developed by Météorage is used in different countries: Austria, Italy, Spain, Tunisia, Portugal and shortly Morocco.
